Welcome to my digital sanctuary where I share my stories, projects, and “voice” my opinions about many things in life.

I am a finance and data professional currently living in the Bay Area (after spending 7+ years in the East Coast and 5 years in the Midwest). I am passionate about uncovering hidden messages behind data. It gives me the exhilaration of a treasure hunter unearthing long-lost gems, or better yet, discovering a new diamond mine.

“All models are wrong, but some are useful”. No one can predict the future but I am not a fan of making decisions based on gut feeling or knee-jerk reactions. Even with limited data, I prefer to draw out possible scenarios and develop action plans for each option. I take calculated risks.

My goal is to learn new things each day, make new friends each season, and travel to new places each year. Pretty or ugly, pleasing or disappointing, successful or failing, provided that the experience is thought-provoking and new lessons are learned, I embrace it.

When I am not online, I am either sleeping or wandering outside soaking in fresh air and nature’s colors.
